Zarathustra Has Not Finished Speaking

The first autobiography/manifesto/philosophical/inspirational book by Lord Alfred Ford Wright.   The title is a reference to Friedrich Nietzsche's book, Also sprach Zarathustra (Thus Spoke Zarathustra), in which the eponymous character claims that Enlightenment thinking has "killed" theological philosophy and thus rises above the latter's confines. Wright proposes that he has instigated a new challenge to what he sees as the confines of the "natural" and the "evolutionary" mindset — forces that he considers too slow, arbitrary, and clumsy to be of any value.

Purpose

Part autobiography, part manifesto, part philosophical diatribe, this book was written by Lord Alfred Ford Wright as part of the interest in his Frontier Century Corporation.

Document Structure

Publication Status

The book was translated into dozens of languages and shot to the top of many best seller lists around the globe. It remains as the top-most influential book of the Twenty-First Century on most reader lists, and some would argue of all human history.

Historical Details

Public Reaction

The blatant, unapologetic audacity, egotism, and arrogance enraged as many as it inspired. It caused a tremendous debate and formally launched the "New Men" movement. Critics, especially Cyborgs and Augments saw it as a direct affront — a threat, even — which launched a number of reactive advertisements.
It's like Mein Kampf, but without the self-pity.
— Harold Eggars, New York Times

Finally, somebody comes along and tells it like it is. I would have written this book had I been born fifty years later. In fact, I'm going to sign up for his gene-replacement therapy today, and I advise my listeners to do the same!
