World Tree

Purpose / Function

The world tree serves as the epicenter of the natural world of Potestatem and administrative center of the Druidic Circles, which govern and protect it. The tree acts as the epicenter of the natural world because it is a magical medium between the areas of nature that are thriving and withering. The tree harnesses the natural life energy of those thriving areas and gifts them to the withering areas, creating balance. The tree also acts as a magical shield to protect the natural world from the Destroyers Breath.

Alterations

Many branches, pieces of bark, and seeds are stolen from the world tree as a result of their arcane properties. Many of these result in Proto World Tree's like the famous one's seen below.

History

During the third era, Rhedsy foresaw the need to guild and protect the natural world as it recovered from Thánatos "The Destroyer". Rhedsy communed with Potestatem's greatest Chawinga for guidance. Under their recommendation, he summoned a fay species known as Fairies. Together they created the World Tree.
The seeds from this tree are huge twenty pound hulks. They are shaped like Mobius strips and many traditional rituals of the druids and rangers involve passing items through these mobius strip shaped seeds centers to bless them.
