Pureblood

Mages whose mother and father were mages going back at least three generations (parents, grandparents, great-grandparents). Recent blood scholarship has also established that some half-bloods from particularly powerful magical families can also be equivalent in power to purebloods, such as the case of Harry Potter, whose mother was a muggle born but whose father was a powerful pureblood of two powerful pureblood lines.
