S.S. Arabic
The S.S. Arabic of 1881 was the first steel-hulled steamship of the White Star Line. She was completed on 12 August 1881 at the Harland and Wolfe Shipyard in Belfast Ireland, designed as a combination cargo/passenger freighter. She made her maiden voyage from Liverpool to New York on 10 September 1881.
