Noak
A small village not far from the Styguard River in central Flastoria. It is most notable for it's proximity to Red Feather Keep.
Two of Noak's proudest features is it's ornate clock tower and it's variety of goat-milk based cheeses.
Located in the center of the town square. Said to be the second freestanding clock built east of the Styguard, the Clockmaster is an honored position often considered to be on a par with the mayor in prestige, if not authority.
As for cheeses, Garrotxa (""Gah-ROE-chah") is the finest. A compact, semi-firm, smooth, gentle and delicious goat cheese with gentle earth, herb, and hazelnut flavors. Nobles pay well to pair it with sparkling wines as the bubles play wonderfully off the clean, milky flavors. Also the Brunet, while not as pricey, is popular throughout Flastoria. A silky, soft-ripened cheese with tastes of mushrooms and sweet cream.
Living outside of town, Widow Perkins is considered the local Wise Woman and healer. Her small, neat cottage bears a red and yellow wreath to quietly advertise her services
