OttL Session 8.5A: Bosgosho Does a Thing
General Summary
During the events of Session 8: Full Moon in Polaris(report:17e35825-284c-49b8-bf56-96661ef405e6), [Bosgosho disguises himself as a half-even wizard named "Richard ThanThou", and approaches the Polaris treasury with the intent of robbing it. He uses illusory script to present a false note to the two treasury guards at the gate :
It has been my most displeasure to bring these bearings. In the wake of the moon plague, a good friend of mine has past away, and I am sending Mr. Richard Thanthou to come speak to his long lost nephew, who's name we were unable to recover in his last will. The only thing I knew about my good friend's nephew is that he worked in the treasury. I would normally deal with this matter myself, but I am instead sending Mr. Thanthou to carry out with the investigation and find my good friend's missing nephew, which is one of your staff. Please do not get in his way, these are hard times. Thank you for understanding."The guards are extremely reluctant, due not only to the Moon Plague but also because there is something very valuable currently in the building. The guards refuse to specify what is so important. Through a fair bit of conversation and a series of social rolls, Bosgosho eventually manages to talk his way into the building. Bill and Ted to rock-paper-scissors to decide which one follows, and Bill winds up being the one to follow Bosgosho into the building. He is going around inspecting everybody's right hand. Unfortunately though, a third guard (adam) just inside spots that the seal on his forged document is incorrect. Specifically, it has one too many triangles. Bosgosho is being escorted out and is in the process of convincing the guards that he did not forge the document when he decides to cause a distraction by dropping a bunch of papers on the ground. He casts fast friends on both bill and ted, but it only works on one of them. As this is happening, Bosgosho spots Promise, the queen of Esma, approaching from down a hallway. He runs away and convinces the charmed guard to slam the door behind him. Once the door is closed he casts invisibility and runs away. Bosgosho escapes successfully, but not before tripping in a puddle and making a large mess of his robes.
