Lake Desconhecida

The water is clear as glass, fed by a meandering river flowing south. You spy fish flitting here and there beneath the surface, playing in the large forests of green kelp and algae.

A large lake water located in the center of the north part of Taretza. It is famed for its incredibly clear water, letting one see up to 40 feet beneath the surface easily. However, this does not mean you can always see the bottom, as the lake is incredibly deep. Small fishing- and cargo boats amke use of the lake, bringing wares from Velámón down the river towards the western coast.
The apparent calm of the lake is not to be trusted, and many large creatures hide far under the surface. Divers that explore the lake often find buildings from long ago that have been claimed by the environment and are slowly but surely being eroded by the underwater streams.
