Commander power is killed during his battle with Zero.

Commander Power encounters a new supervillain with the same powers that he possesses, Zero. The two titans battle through the city causing millions of dollars in property destruction. After a long fight, Zero gets the upperhand and kills Commander Power with a well timed punch to the chest. Zero unmasks the fallen hero and flies away. After the unmasking it is revealed that Commander Power was ace reporter, Calvin Cores. And Zero was none other then the Commander's former sidekick, Power-boy, his son.
