Coruscating Cuts™, also known as C.C.’s™ or simply as Carlo’s™, is a staple in the Old Town of Hygahr. For the past 60 years, it has been providing the citizens of Hygahr with extraordinary cuts of freshly butchered red meat, seafood, pork, and poultry. Giancarlo, the elf owner, is popular with the locals. He is flashy and charismatic and provides food to those who can’t afford it. The deli that is attached offers warm and cold sandwiches and brothy soups. His son, Giovani, does most of the butchering. He enjoys entertaining customers with knife tricks as he prepares their orders. If a hearty meal or a fine cut of the most delicious meat is what you fancy, Carlo’s™ is the place!

Purpose / Function

Carlo’s™, is actually a front for a criminal enterprise/spy network. The Gentleman, as he is known, runs a smuggling network for rare items of interest. Art, drugs, archaeological finds… anything that has value, really. The most valuable thing that is traded here, however, is information. The hideout is connected to a vast underground labyrinth of caves and catacombs that gives the Gentleman and his ilk an easy way out of the city without gaining the attention of the cities guard.
