Jaenelle Claymore is the leader of House Claymore, one of the noble houses in Darkriven. She has a reputation of distrustfulness and reclusiveness. She carries her late husband Galliard's claymore, Doomwitness, and his skull. She claims Galliard's skull whispers to her and acts as an advisor. In truth, his spirit is condemned to watch as Jaenelle undoes all the goodwill he garnered for the Claymores.
She is the mother of Eloise Claymore and Emelina Claymore.
