Lumentus

When cloud giant Zeagra whispered a curse of madness into the statocyst of the tyrant Klu'ilsib of the Krell civilization, he sounded the conches of war and scuttled his armies to the shores of Antorok, Galdarra, and Ykryona with intent to wipe out the surface dwellers. This sparked the Shallows War, and the Elemental Magnates all chose sides early in this conflict. Because of the involvement of the elemental gods, the war quickly threatened to rival the Fundamental Reckoning. Seeking a less destructive resolution to the war, agents of peace quested to the planes of Air, Earth, Fire, and Water to extract divine ichor from Nadaar, Marthasya, Targak, and Gulungin. With these sacred bloods, a child, Lumentus, was conceived, and the parental tendencies of the warring gods were exploited to push for talks of an armistice. Lumentus's immortal life was cut short, however, but assassins sent by Klu'ilsib. Lumentus's ichor spilled out inbetween the primary elemental planes and spawned a multitude of secondary and tertiary elemental planes. For the crimes of igniting the conflict that became the Shallows war, Zeagra and Klu'ilsib were imprisoned in the Elemental Plane of Air and Water respectively.

WORSHIPPERS

Worshippers collectively offer prayer to and mourn Lumentus in hopes that the Elemental Magnates do not forget the price they paid for their constant feuding and engage in conspiracy to start another elemental war.

SACRED SITES

The city of Loomis holds the remains of Lumentis in the Mausoleum of Empty Rain. Pilgrimages are made there annually from civilizations from all over Primea in hopes to appease the Stillborn Maelstrom into blessing them with fair weather that year.
