Odea
Souls are the divine resource by which the gods fuel their agendas. In the beginning, Odea fashioned souls for its divine peers, operating with singular purpose to allow for Those Most High to shape Primea into what it resembles in modern times. For eons, the mysterious Odea was the single entity capable of creating souls. Shortly after assigning Fendarra's vessels with unique souls, Odea grew fond of the mortals that prevailed on the primordial Primea. When Erodesia shared the secret of procreation with mortals, Odea also gifted them with the ability to create souls at the moment of nascency. Since then, Odea seldom takes direct part in the creation of souls, instead carefully watching over those born of mortals. This has caused the other gods to compete amongst themselves in order to influence mortals to allow them to tap into the energy residing in their immortal souls.
WORSHIPPERS
Those who worship Odea often shun the other gods. They recognize that Odea changed the power dynamics between mortals and the gods and that they are capable of holding the gods accountable for their divine whims. They know that without their prayers, the gods' powers will dwindle. These worshippers instead focus on perfecting themselves in order to become more desirable at the Pith Bazaar.SACRED SITES
The Len Monastery houses the largest concentration of Odea's followers. Attendees rigorously discipline themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually in order to achieve oneness with themselves. Other sacred locations are the sites where a mortal ascended to godhood. While also held in great renown by the worshippers of those that have ascended, they recognize the ascension would not have been possible without the once mortal diety exemplifying a particular set of ideals which would become their domain, an act similar to the practices of Odea's devout.RESOURCES
It goes without saying that Odea created the means by which the other gods imposed their will onto the realm of Primea. Souls are the ultimate ethereal currency and while Odea was the original source of these tokens, mortals are now free to choose through prayers how their souls are exercised. Supernatural agents of Odea are known as Specters.
