Most mortal souls will inevitably share the same fate, and that fate is the embrace of The White Hands. Few extraordinary souls will be offered an eternity in the cortège of their patron diety. Vittu, however, oversees the collection and safekeeping of unremarkable souls delivered to her by Jiwillian. These souls enter an eternal state of torpidity and peacefulness. This fate is not a wretched one, but it is pitiable as the souls will seldom ever mature or flourish beyond this point. Vittu is also the arbiter of undeath magic. It is her influence that is bargained for by necromancers seeking to animate the unliving. This power is lent out in an effort to mock the futility and fleeting nature of life.
WORSHIPPERS
Necromancers and clerics alike are extremely common among Vittu's throng. Necromancers seek to provoke the dead to do their bidding, while clerics will strive to reduce the anguish and deliver mercy to the dying. Agents of True Mercy aim to reveal the absurdity of life and to scorn Fendarra as a pretender goddess. They believe life is just a pointless temporary vessel for a creature's immortal soul, and the sooner the soul is free from its mortal form, the sooner its divine purpose can be revealed.SACRED SITES
Fields of daisies are often cultivated by those that wish to offer regular prayer and feel the embrace of Vittu. The flowers' pallid petals resemble the delicate fingers of The White Hands. To determine if their duty on the mortal plane is at an end, the daisy-tenders will play a game of Vittu's Gambit. Plucking the petals from the flower will reveal the fate of an individual or a group participating in the lottery.RESOURCES
Vittu possesses supreme command over the dead and undead. She is not hesitant to brandish this power when the realm of the living grows too complacent and neglects the truth of their inescapable demise. When tested by Fendarra, Vittu almost never suffers a defeat, and even on those rare occassions, they both know that death can never be conquered, only delayed. Supernatural Agents of Vittu are known as Revenants.
