Clever design allows for the management to flood the arena, raise cages raised from the dungeon beneath etc. Awnings protect spectators from the elements and hawkers ply a wide variety of snacks to the punters.
'Games' start at noon ever Sunday. Public floggings and executions take place before the games. Slavers use the Arena every for big auctions, the Commodore plans to profit by selling captured pirates. During Festivals the Commodore pays for the larger upper tier to be open for the public.
