Athya was born Themyris Dorimant, daughter of one of the older noble houses of Katagia.
In her mid teens a marriage was arranged to ally two houses, but other nobles viewed the alliance as a threat. Themyris was kidnapped and passed on to Margish slavers in return for their promise she would disappear.
In Marg Themyris was taken into the catacombs. What happened next she doesn't clearly recall - except in nightmares. Her next clear memory is nearly a year later when she awoke in a sea cave near the hidden harbour of Asura.
Since then she's wandered the region, using the name Athya, and trying to make sense of the nightmares she has...

Athya is recognisably Atlantean: tall, athletic, bronzed skin, golden eyes and long, dark hair braided after the Dhari fashion.
Apparel & Accessories
She wears a mixture of Dhari and Kalay travelling clothes, old and a bit faded showing signs of repairs. Her leather cuirass was originally of Lomari manufacture but shows many repairs of a Dhari leatherworker. She carries a wooden staff and has a bronze dagger tucked into her belt.
