Lotan's material form is believed to have been all of the world's oceans, and legend says she can manifest in any large body of water as she is formless constantly shifting, and always flowing. Lotan is the embodiment of primordial chaos. This is represented by the power of the sea untamed and raging; she is seen as ruling storms and the disasters they wreak. Many also attribute Lotan as the mother of sea monsters throughout the ocean.
The followers of Lotan come from the ranks of the Frost Giants that sail the oceans that are his body in iceberg cities. All water elementals and any water-based being may also call on Lotan as their god. Warlocks and Druids have been known to follow Lotan as well. Many fishermen and sailors pay homage to this Elemental lord as well.

Followers of Lotan believe that the great dragon never defeated the primordial, that Lotan feigned defeat as he knew he could not win against the Great Dragon. Followers who wish to commune with Lotan believe they must offer their sacrifices on the sores for the hungry ties or commit their gifts into whirlpools.
