The Troubadours
The Troubadours are a clandestine network of spellcasters and spies who seek to tip the scales in favor of the innocent, the weak, and the poor. The faction operates largely as a decentralized, grassroots, organization. Tending to be secretive by nature, and providing near-autonomy of many of its members.
They prefer to work behind the scenes and have their finger on the pulse of power in the world. Troubadours use their wits, intelligence networks, and access to magical and other aid to gain the upper hand against their enemies. Rarely do they operate in the open, and they are always on the lookout for powerful items to keep out of the hands of evildoers.
The Troubadours have cells and lone operatives all across the world and use various guises and identities to gain access to carefully guarded secrets. They pride themselves on their integrity and creativity and are motivated by a noble ideology that seeks fair and equal treatment for all. They do not seek power or glory but strive to make the world a better place for all.
