Gods?

When a world has such strong influence from it's deities, how can we say that each nation is independent and do not interact?
In truth the premise is simple. The gods are there, and people know of them, but they just don't care.
To explain better, the general public will know that there are other gods. It may be as little as "there are other gods, like the god of knowledge, but damned if I know their name", or it could be more detailed like "I know Aurelion is a god, but I am not sure exactly what he is the god of". Some more educated people will know both their names and their domains, but at the end of the day, it still doesn't matter.
The general attitude of Prism is apathetic ignorance. They do not know, and they don't care to know. The best analogy is they think of other gods as parents who have abandoned them. Sure they exist, but they aren't here, and they aren't coming back, so they only care about the one who is here and takes care of them.
Why the gods do not interact worldwide is not clear however, people have asked, but there are no records of the answers they may or may not have been giving. Yet it can not be denied that all the powers that the gods have work in every single location in Prism. This seeming contradiction is one that priests often spend time on, and there are still no clear answers regarding this topic.
