Spirit Grove
This place is a symbol of life having taken on the appearance of meadows, thick forests and snowy mountains, spotted with lakes. Many different forms of life are harbored here, many which border immortal lifespans, thanks to the life force that runs through it. As this place represents the ancestral nature it is aligned with primal life, harmony and soul.
Based on this there is no surprise that this is the place where the fey thrive. They are save there living carefree lives as they are provided for in any way, their only enemy boredom which causes many fey to actually permanently reside within the material plane even if presented with the possibility of reaching the spirit grove. other inhabitants of the are nature spirits in all kind of variations and more interestingly guardian spirits. With the strong connection between body and soul and the permeating life force more than one exemplary individual managed to slip past Fe´Jasks grasp, managing to tether their spirit within the spirit grove. These individual souls are bound and robbed of their freedom or chance of reincarnation, but are otherwise capable of a resemblance of live. Many ancestral spirits or similar actually have their origin within the spirit grove. It is therefore also known as "heroes rest" despite the plane not differentiating between a hero or a villain. The most common way to be pushed into this fate of no return is by mastering divine magic. After the restriction of the Plains of reality, their followers where denied access to their gods domains and their souls lost by Fe´Jasks reaping. To not lost their strongest devout and to fill the gap of the Lost Castaways, they made a deal with the ruler of the spirit grove, which would allow their strongest divine casters to be brought into the realm as guardian spirits.
Although ultimately not influenced by the gods apart from a slight connection to Badbiele, through the Gaea Tree, nowadays the spirit grove has a queen. Nobody knowns how such a thing is possible but Fae Queen Ida the Wounded managed to cripple her essence and fuse said essence directly with the plane, making her the undisputed owner of the spirit grove. With her powers she has now reached a very specific standing within latebra, powerful enough to rival gods, but also so restricted to be rather inconsequential.
