Catazya is the moon which orbits around Cylyn. It is a bit larger than ours.

There is no evidence that life is possible on the moon but some people think that Catazya actually had a earth-like and stalbe ecosytem which got extinct through a crucial row of events.

History

Scholars do not really know how the moon originated. However there are many different assumption throughout different societies.

Serath

Followers of the Serath religion believe that the moon is the spirit of Morthy, the creator of light, who ascended after creating Cylyn to serve as a protector. That is why people believe, fallen asteriods come directly from Catazya as warning from Morthy.

Thunder Wolves

The thunder wolves, a group of werewolves, say that the moon is Werthise, patronage of all were-being. They think of the moon as the maker of them. That the grell light of the full moon is a call from her to awake the hunters in the werewolves.

Vocaal

Vocaal, a coven of powerful witches and wizards, assume the moon as an eternal focus and catilisator for certain spells like the moon song.

Santian

Santian people thought that Catazya was the darkblood god, the first vampire who would roam Cylyn. Needless to say, santian worship the blood moon the most. In those night they were really bloodthirsty and start one week festival.
But like the thunder wolves the santian were afraid of the new moon because their powers would be very weak. Ironically, the last city of Santian fell under a new moon.
