Personal history

Laurana Myl was born in 1140 in a small village inhabited by the Santian tribe of Culutha. Little was known about her parents. Scholars believed that they had a low level in tribes society because they abandoned Laurana when she was only three months old. By chance she was found by a shaman who brought her to Syryth, one of the first estatblished cities on the northeastern part of the continent. There Laurana was entrusted to Vylana Moril who led a orphanage with certain learning methods.

In Moril´s orphanage Laurana Myl was trained in combat, stealth and linguistics. No one really knew by that time that Vylana Moril was a wanted assassin and that the foundling would be her best student of all time.

Employment

Because of her great abilities and accomplishments in Moryl´s orphanage Laurana Myl was recommended to Varyen Moru who led an brotherhood of assassins called Reaper of kings. By her Qualifying Examination Myl impressed everyone and rose to the rank of a master´s hand. With just sixteen years she was the youngest person ever to achive this position.
Furthermore with fourteen she began her first mission on her own and with eighteen she started to educate the younglings.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Besides her great abilities and accomplichments within the Reaper of kings she succeeded the biggest coup in the history of the Brotherhood by murdering Vilon van Turo, the crownprince of Maresdam, in 1170 and let all clues lead to an innocent santian diplomat who was later found guilty and executed. This was the trigger for the Thirty-year-war what should shape the new political agendas and should have been the fall of the Santian.
She was the bloodthirsty assassin in the history of her brotherhood, maybe in entire known. Fourhundredfifty plus one (Vilo van Turo) were attributed to her. Legends tell about more than thousand.

Failures & Embarrassments

Even if it was her greatest achievement it was luck that she barely survided the assassination on Vilo van Turo. Someone had compramised her mission and she got ambushed by royal guards. By a hair's breadth and seriously injured Myl could flee. Her people thought that she failed her mission. But foresighted she had poisened every wine which also was brought the safe place - where Vilo van Turo was too.
But even if she poisened the wine no one could verify her murder. She did not left the usual mark on the victim´s body and later a second assassination attempt was made on van Turo. Scholars long were fought if the wine or a arrow had kill him.

Mental Trauma

Maybe because of her early seperation from her parents she rapidly became a maverick and learned to live on her own even if she was raised in an orphanage with like-minded children. Moreover she developed an more likely cold attitude and didn´t bother to kill people.

Intellectual Characteristics

She was linguistically gifted and had a knife-sharped understanding of logical and spatial things. Especially Myl was an expert in alchemy and akimbo dagger combat.

Myl was an expert in alchemy. For example she liked to intoxicate her daggers with a poison which would kill the victims slowly. Moreover she was very ambitious. If would have signed a contract she would not rest until it was fullfilled.
