Diary of Mulos Truin
All throughout his adventures with his brother, Mulos kept a diary to keep help himself keep track of everything they learnt. When he passed to illness, his brother attempted to pick up the habit but could not maintain it the same way. When Ethros retired, he donated the diary to Great Gismari University for the knowledge to be shared and not forgotten. The book has remained in the University's collection ever since.

History
The first entries in the diary show diagrams of the structures uncovered during the excavations of the Brass Giant in the Gismari desert. With great detail they depict the various stylised columns discovered in the temple as well as a to-scale artistic rendering of the Brass Giant statue itself. This same section discusses the mosaics found within that temple, and summarises some discussions that were held on site about the dating and origin of the religious iconography.
Then, the meat of the diary lies in the documentation of the learnings of the clans of the Eryl plains, focusing mainly on the Hyena clan. Contrary to what outsiders believed to be mindless savages, the Truin brothers learned of the deep and varied cultures among the clans. All the celebration rituals, funeral rites, notes on the languages, the complex relationships between clans and within each one that are listed in the diary serve as proof of of the humanity of these people and how similar they truly are to people everywhere else.
The last sections written in Mulos's hand go over their travels in the Everice, with a simple map of all the ruins they visited and diagrams of some of the architecture and artifacts discovered in those same places. Partway in, the handwriting switches, as well as the level of detail. Ethros never could match the detail-oriented nature of his brother, and his notes were simple and sporadic.
