Baruilden Skull Worship

Some Baruilese worship the dead and build elaborate mounds of the skulls of their enemies. They go as far as making drinking vessels out of the heads of the fallen opposition. The Baruilese that worship in this way have been doing so for thousands of years. It is believed that the religious practice began as a way of extending honor to the fallen and that it devolved into a depraved ritualistic show of bravado over countless centuries. The priests of the cult still hold to the ancient ways, even while the rest of the followers relish in victory rather than show their respect. This cult exists in tandem with that of Sala shamanism.
