The Procession of Athrune

The Procession of Athrune is a religious order devoted to the goddess Athrune. Members of the procession call themselves mourners because they believe that they are in an active state of mourning over the death of their goddess. They build elaborate mausoleums in their goddess's name. Many of these act as houses of worship. The most notable of these mausoleums stands in An-Turrim. 
The mourners believe that their religion is the oldest and the truest. The Procession has been around since Before the Corruption of the Eldara and was itself established in -4000 BCE. They believe that when they die, they reunite with Athrune, strengthening her. They believe that eventually their goddess will reincarnate and walk among the people of Prominence to witness her creation.
