Stonewind Dragon

"Bred from the earth and mixed with the blood of ancient dragons, the stonewind dragons are hulking creatures formed from the darkest slate..."
— An excerpt from The Poacher's Publication on Predators

Screeching Stone

Thankfully a rare sight, stonewind dragons have long since been hailed as a sign of the apocalypse. Their dark slate skin stretched across their musculature, their piercing jade eyes, and their blood red claws all combine to form a singular, terrifying being, whose existence can only herald doom and suffering to all who exist in its path.   Tale tells of their birth at the moment of creation, their bodies being pulled from the earth and infused with life. From then on cursed to living a half life as a construction with a soul rather than a soul gifted a living body.   Their cruelty is born of their torture, not of their nature, as every moment they exist on this plane is their waking nightmare. Their muscles tear and repair themselves, the fire that burns in their stomachs scorches their body from the inside out, and even just breathing brings them immense pain. This pain and suffering of their existence brings out the absolute worst of them, leaving an empty charred husk where any sense of compassion or care could exist.

Doom Incarnate

They have no breeding cycle, nor a family of any kind. Their existence lies in the earth, with the core of the world. Their bodies rising and falling with the crust itself. Their fire heating the stone around them, their eyes seeing nothing but darkness in the confines of their stone prison. They permeate the essence of the world and yet have no place in it.   It is in the depths that they wait, a patience born of necessity, for the day and the moment that they are summoned forth from the mantle. They wait for their time to raze the earth, to crush life beneath their titanic mass.   They wait for the mistakes of man to catch up to them.   They wait to exterminate existence.
