Telmises
"You won't find a telmises anywhere, they don't show themselves unless they want to."
"Why is that?"
"They exist... out of our reality..."
Hidden Echoes
Never truly seen by any person in the Eight Lands, very few have ever heard of a telmises. The few descriptions that do make their ways to the ears in this world of adventurers add up to a frightening story. One says that they are fractured, never showing their whole being, while another says that they appear ghostly, trailing wisps of energy from their bodies. The one detail that each description maintains is that they never moved, they simply watched, almost as if they were waiting to move on. The few people who believe in the existence of the telmises see them as heralds of the darkness, beings to watch the worst of the universe. Whether there is any truth to these words is not known.Endless
While the people of the Eight Lands are divided on whether or not the telmises exist, just beyond the edges of their perception, where reality becomes a fog, the telmises gaze upon them. They watch for the sake of watching, looking upon what they may have once held but have since lost. A few creatures are capable of piercing the fog of reality, allowing them to see the telmises gazing into reality, though they do not act upon their sight of them. Even in the gaze of beasts and monsters, the telmises hold their place on the edge of the universe. The reason for the silent, statue-esque nature of the telmises could be anything, such as not wishing to disturb the world they have since left behind, or perhaps it could simply be that they are no longer capable of speaking or of moving. Whichever the case, their presence at the edge of the fog of reality is almost admirable. As if they wish to keep to themselves but still say:"Here I am..."

I love this one. With many of the previous creatures, they felt very material and real — like it was natural to see them in a particular habitat, even though seldomly. With telmises, even the account of their existence is somewhat shrouded in shadowy mist. The final quote plays nicely to the overall picture of a Cheshire cat, who looks upon people from the night sky but who fades into the dark. And one doesn't know whether it was reality or a figment of imagination. Thanks for a good read, Thei. This WE really is on fire. :D
There's plenty more to come too!
