The Vault Curator

Older than most of the staff of the R'shar Magisterium house, the Scholar of the Deep Vault has been sheltered away for decades, toiling away at the problems of the world and his own personal interests. No one alive knows him as anything other than the Scholar, the person to see if you need a solution to any problem. Because of his nearly timeless nature, the solution to your problem might come after the problem has resolved or nearly immediately, sometimes it doesn't get told to you until decades later. However it comes, a solution is always found.
The Scholar has rarely been seen to exit the Deep Vault and when he does it's to visit his longtime companion, Janette. The Vault has become his territory, his domain, and if anyone should cause any chaos within it, they'll have him to answer to.

The Oldest Legends

Their journey to being Curator has been laced with tragedy and defeat, the largest foe of his journey being time itself. Dimitris has fought tooth and nail against those who wish him ill, whether that be because his solution to a problem was not one they were hoping for, or because his demeanour and his way of dealing with people leave a sense of wanting.
Something always feels out of place with the Curator, and few know what it is to lose part of yourself on the way to your end goal. Whilst Dimitris hasn't faced anything as tyrannical as a tyrant or death-defying as a fire breathing dragon, his ultimate sacrifice has taken the cost of an eye and his home.
Originally from Coachman's Split in Bihulling, Dimitris slowly garnered himself within the Magisterium, his power with archival and ancient magicks making him the perfect tool to be used to do good across the Eight Lands. Eventually, he was assigned to the Deep Vault, first as a curatorial assistant and then promoted to Curator when his mentor, and only other frequent face in the Vault, George Fodd, retired and moved to be with his family.

A New Foundation

Since being promoted to Curator, Dimitris has found himself garnering the affection of another Magisterium scholar, one by the name of Janette Bananas, who claims that her surname is not actually "Bananas" but refuses to say what it actually is. Over time, their affection has grown stronger and stronger, and while Dimitris spends most of his time within the Deep Vault, their relationship has only seemed to grow more intimate.
