Emsterel Lake

The large lake that makes up the center point of the northern continent. The depths of the lake are largely unknown as attempts to chart its bottom have ended in peril. It houses the two island prisons of the lizardfolk, the Pale and Red Islands, as well as the wizard tower that watches the two islands Kusto Keep.
It provides ample fishing for the handful of villages that line its shores.
The Slumbrous River feeds into it in the east and it drains to the south via the Soundless River.
