The Tables

The Tables were used to do experiments and research on the children. It has the appearance of a morgue table. The table itself isn’t the thing that the children are afraid of, it’s what happens on the table that they’re afraid of. Surgery to “improve” they body to handle they abilities better or injecting them with fluids that are meant to “improve” their abilities. From the research done their bodies often rejects the change and leave the patient ill or in some cases near the brink of death, but they have been no recorded cases of a patient dying. It’s not the thought of death that the children are afraid of, it’s the pain that they’ll have to go through for something that is ultimately pointless.

Utility

The scientists will strap down a child onto the table, hook them up with I.V. Drips, heart monitors, life support if necessary and after the scientists have done all that they’ll start researching or experimenting on them
