PURRPUNK™

(WiP!) Purrpunk™ is a tabletop role-playing game system that was founded on the elements of the cyberpunk genre and contemporary, online cat-person community. It features a unique world in which humans and cats have evolved together, forming a new species known as (seggsy cat-peeps). The game allows players to create their own custom characters and explore a complex, technologically advanced universe full of intrigue and danger.   It's designed to be a fast-paced, narrative-focused experience, with enough strategic depth to satisfy even the most experienced tabletop gamers. The core mechanics of Purrpunk™ are based on traditional tabletop role-playing games, but with a few twists: * Each player controls a custom cat-person character (anime visuals) with their own backstory, personality and motivations; as well as, the unique Felinid abilities that can be honed, strengthened.* The action in each turn is divided into three phases: move, explore, and attack. In the move phase, players have opportunities to travel through the world or run events such as combat or social encounters (more on this later). In the explore phase, players can make use of their experience (with cats :P ) to interact with other characters in unique ways (more on this later). Finally, in the attack phase they choose actions that might include attacking an enemy character or making use of special abilities (such as hyper-jump-kicking, elemental magic or using stealth to avoid combat & more). In each campaign, the players move and explore the world. They will each have their own reasons for teaming-up, but will they be able to work together?   In addition to carrying out special & combat actions, players will be able to collect items and use them for various purposes such as crafting items or improving their abilities. Each player begins with a limited number of moves before they must pass on their turn. /As players explore the world they can find items that can be used for crafting -- for example, in order to craft a sword you need a piece of metal ore, some type of rare wood, and a blacksmith's hammer. In the end, there are four main stats that players can focus on: attack power (attack), agility (movement), defense (defend) and magic power (magic)./
