Parchment of Messages

Scroll, very rare The parchment of messages is separated into two or more sections upon its creation. As long as two sections of the parchment are on the same plane of existence, they have the following traits:

• By writing or drawing on one section the parchment, the writing will appear exactly as written on all sections of the parchment simultaneously.
• You can write or draw as much on a section of the parchment as much as you could on a mundane parchment of the same size.
• Striking a horizontal line through text written on any section of the parchment will erase it on every section.
• The whole parchment can be wiped simultaneously with a diagonal line from one corner to the other.
• You can hear faint sounds from the immediate environment of the other sections of the parchment.

If all other sections of the parchment are destroyed, the remaining section becomes a mundane parchment and contains whatever writing was on it while it was still magical. The size and shape of the parchment is entirely up to the DM's discretion.
