Khyber's Blessing

Wondrous Item, artifact (requires attunement by a by a being of Khyber) Born from the spiritual essence of an Ancient Dragon, Khyber. The pendant was infused with the last vestiges of the dragon's immortal soul to protect and guide his followers. This transformed the pendant into a translucent, tear drop shaped vessel, with a red shimmering liquid at its core. The top of the vessel, where the necklace chain threads through, may be separated from the rest of the pendant, like a stopper from a potion’s vial and consumed. Every morning, at sun's first light, the wearer feels dawn's radiance feed the artifact, recharging its restorative energies.

• The pendant has the properties of a potion of healing.
• The potion Heals 2d4 +2 Hit Points per use.
• Once consumed, the potion cannot be used again until dawn the following day.

Awakened Benediction Prolonged attunement to Khyber’s Blessing, (ex: a number of milestones/character levels decided by the player and DM, or reaching the next tier of play), allows the bond between the wearer and the pendant’s healing essence to become more substantial.

• The pendant now grants the wearer proficiency in the medicine skill.
• The wearer may cast cure wounds once per day, recharging at Dawn.
• The potion's healing properties increase, it is now comparable to a greater potion of healing.
• The potion heals 4d4 +4 Hit Points per Dawn.
