Fallen Down of Nectar Glen

This is the first time I've published my somewhat longer-form writing in public. The WorldAnvil Community has had it available for some time, but now I present: Fallen Down of Nectar Glen.

Synopsis

Fallen Down of Nectar Glen takes place during the founding campaign of the nation that would become Qal'ath. King Senzàn-Fai leads his forces against the Aevyormii, the winged natives, in an attempt to take their territory by force. While the outlying villages fall easily to the superior weaponry of the Qalathii, they are being prevented to fully seize the land by the She of the Few, the leader of the Aevyormii. In desperation She has protected An'bé'zel with a powerful mystical shield.
Not versed in the magical arts, Senzàn-Fai had contracted a Sellspell to give them the advantage they need. The Aevyormii are left facing a war of attrition, with the only alternative being to flee and hope to reclaim the Nectar Glen, their homeland, some day.
The very definition of honour is hanging in the balance, and how both sides react will set the tone for how their respective nations will be built. Blood will be spilled, but will it be red or blue?
