Galwark's Pallid Alehouse
For eighteen generations the Galwark family has remained unbroken in their promise to brew and ship quality pallid ale to the greater population. Promised to be the best partner to a dry biscuit around, a flagon of pallid ale is the best liquid quilt for your palette that copper can purchase. With the freshest flavors a cask can hold to sailors and serfs alike it's no surprise why the priority commodity of trade season rests in good father Walbert Galwark's hands.
Galwark's mainstay alehouse rests within eye line of the lively Middleton wharf, boasting a size comparable to the largest cathedrals within the Nobrenna kingdom. Producing a minimum of eighty-eight barrels per day, the massive four-post brew house employs over two thousand permanent jobs on site alone. Between production, containment and storage, and local sales, the city of Middleton shares a rich integration with Galwark's ales and subsidiary elixirs. Trade season often employs an additional thousand temporary jobs to assist with the influx of production and shipment brought on by arriving trade ships.
In addition to the four-post brewery and manor of operations, the G.P.A. establishment publicly hosts a four story luxury tavern featuring the family's latest test batches and a courtyard rife with history of the Galwarks. What's more, two adjoining residential blocks are fenced and patrolled to protect the valuable livelihood of those in loyal servitude to the company. These blocks are known as the Galwark's Posts, and between them is nestled a market square that directly flows into Middleton's sprawling wharf district. Far be it to say, arriving by boat and not wetting one's interest in the wealth of the Galwark's pristine enterprise would be a staggering feat of ignorance.
Over time Middleton has expanded out from the successful corporation, leaving most older residences in the city on the southern end and more recent developments berthing northward.
