Leafshadow Elves
The Drow Liberation
The Leafshadow elves are a counter-culture movement against the Drow elves, also known as the Drow Liberation. They are made up of drow who have turned away from Lolth and her sanctioned evil ways, as well as their allies. Together, they help their members escape the Underdark and join the surface races. The movement was founded in 4008, so Leafshadow elf families are now reasonably distinguishable from drow. Currently, most of the population can be found in the Ashonee Tagia, near a major entrance to the Underdark. They are truly a separate people, as Leafshadow elves usually have darker brown skin tinged with green, copper or bronze hair, and brown eyes. Their drow sunlight sensitivity has disappeared as well, after a few generations under the sun. They are currently living in a few small, tight-knit communities near entrances to the Underdark, and don't have much formal government or structure.
