Coinage
In this world different currenicies exist for different regions. However, most coinage falls into one of the following categories.
1 mpp = 100 pp
1 pp = 10 gp
1 gp = 10 sp
1 sp = 10 cp
1 gp = 3 ep
1 ep = 5 ip
1 ip = 4 bp
1 bp = 4 tp
Bread coins are typically not aceepted outside of the kingdom they are from. Money changers will typically convert tin pieces into gold pieces (and vise versa) at a rate of 250 tp = 1 gp, in addition to charging for such services.
Realm Coins
These coins come in standard demoninations of Mega Platinum, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Copper. While the crests and symbols might vary all realm coins have the following characteristics. Realm coins are magically enchanted to weigh 10x as much as the next size down. They also tend to decrease in size. The heaviest and largest coin (the mega platnum piece) weigh 1 pound each. While realm coins can be unwieldy they typically do no not require money changers to use and thus tend to be the "trade" coin. Unfortuantely, realm coins can be dispelled and when this happens they lose all features and become valueless smooth lead coins. Additionally, placing a realm coin of any demoninatin into a normal bag of holding will dispell it. For this reason special bags of holding have been developed that do not cause this effect on coins placed into them. Exchange Rate1 mpp = 100 pp
