Qur'ën

“Qur'ën” (Kur-een) was a large demi-plane created under mysterious circumstances, a land pervaded with powerful leaders, magic, alchemy, and technology. In Qur'ën, the gods of the outside world were cut off, and the psionic magic that pervaded all sentient life could turn anyone or anything of great notoriety into a god. When thousands of people or creatures thought of, or possessed strong emotions for a physical object or creature with regularity, their "Ethos" was channeled into it, and it's true form was manifested in divine power. They called this process, “Apotheosis”. Living matter that was subject to Apotheosis was gifted a higher state of consciousness, this clarity was manifested as literal eyes flaring out of the physical form. In a world where the popular became gods, the desires of the rich and powerful sired a land of constant war and political conspiracy.
