Acolyte

Third Rank Noble. 13 honor This is the third rank of the Empire.  This title can be a hereditary title of can be obtained by the accumulation of honor like the title of Yeoman.  The Acolyte is a typical worker of the nobility.  The Acolyte is not allowed in the upper city past the inner walls of an Imperial city.  However, an Acolyte can enter the upper city when escorted by a Mednoble or higher.  Acolytes while working typically wear robes to show the tasks that each has been assigned.  An Acolyte wearing a blue robe will be preforming Scholar duties.  An Acolyte wearing Red robes will be preforming Attendant duties.

Qualifications

Must have accumulated at least 13 points of honor from members of the Empire that are rank Baron/Baroness of higher.

Requirements

Tithe is 250 gold per year and 5 points of honor for this rank.  The points of honor are typically paid by the Imperial employer of the Acolyte.

Appointment

This requires another ceremony of fealty that is attended by the Count/Countess or the Duke/Duchess of the sector that the Acolyte resides.

Duties

The Acolyte is expect to act in the best interest of the Empire and prove the worth of the Freeholder to gain additional benefits of the Empire.  The Acolyte is also expected to preform acts for the Empire to earn the honor points that are required to be paid as tithe each year.  When employed by a higher ranking Imperial Citizen it is customary for the employer to pay the honor cost on behalf of the Acolyte as the Acolyte is dutifully serving his or her employer.

Responsibilities

The Acolyte must maintain at least 13 points of honor at all times or risks being demoted.

Benefits

The Acolyte is gifted a second psycast during the ceremony that is gifted to him or her by the Count/Countess or Duke/Duchess that presides over the Ceremony of Fealty.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

Failure to pay the honor or gold tithe results in a decrease in rank to Yeoman and a removal of all remaining points of honor.
Form of Address
Lady/Gentleman of for non-Empire citizens, not required. Acolyte and last name for Empire Citizens.
