Yeoman

This is the second rank of the Empire. This is not a hereditary title. When a Freeholder has proven their worth to the Empire he or she may be raised to the rank of Yeoman. This rank allows passage through the outer gates of Imperial cities and the Yeoman may stay in the lower city outside of the inner walls. A Yeoman does not have sufficient rank to trade with Imperial Traders or purchase/sell items to the Imperial holds.  This title requires more points of honor that are given by any member of the Empire that is above the rank of Baron/Baroness and does not need to be the one that promoted him or her to Freeholder status.

Qualifications

Must have accumulated at least 7 points of honor from members of the Empire that are rank Baron/Baroness or higher.

Requirements

Tithe is 100 gold per year for this rank

Appointment

This requires another ceremony of fealty that is attended by the Count/Countess or the Duke/Duchess of the sector that the Yeoman resides.

Duties

The Yeoman is expect to act in the best interest of the Empire and prove the worth of the Freeholder to gain additional benefits of the Empire.

Benefits

The Yeoman is given the gift of a psycast during the ceremony that is gifted to him or her by the Count/Countess or Duke/Duchess that presides over the Ceremony of Fealty.

Form of Address

Lady/Gentleman of for non-Empire citizens, not required. Yeoman and last name for Empire Citizens.
