Duyen (Human)

The Duyen

The Duyen were the Racinites first allies and the first to assimilate into the Empire. Their native lands hug tight to the eastern shores and the inlet of the Saria Sea and span inland into the the many saltwater lakes of the Ho region.
They are a seafaring folk known for their talents as shipbuilders and sailors. Duyen sailors have been responsible for mapping most of the world’s coastlines in their travels. As such, authentic Duyen maps are prized for their accuracy and are highly sought-after by adventurers planning to pursue seafaring expeditions.
Duyen are most commonly fair-skinned, though they tan and freckle easily. Their almond-shaped eyes are most typically dark-brown, though some Duyen are born with deep gray eyes. Duyen hair is typically straight, and ranges from black to dark brown.
