The Racinites

The Rachina Kingdom that grew into the Empire was originally founded by an ethnic human group known as the Racinites. Racinites are a dark, curly-haired people who typically have brown or hazel eyes. Their skin tone ranges from tawnny to black. They tend to be on the tall side for humans.
Prior to the Empire, the Rachina Kingdom was known far and wide for its expertise with horses -- many Racinites have worked hard to keep their culture’s equestrian tradition alive even after the Empire’s fall. A Racinitie stallion is said to have twice the stamina of the more common breeds.
Given the reach of the Rachina empire at its peak, Racinites can now be found in all corners of the world. They are an exceedingly proud people. The Racinites bound the world together like no group of people had before, and they have a penchant for not letting others forget this.
A cult of Racinites is working to rebuild the city of Racine. They have their work cut out for them, as the fire that ravished the city’s core has left behind a dark, seemingly bottomless and deeply enchanted crater that seems to swallow whole any who try to venture into it.
