Admiral O'Galloigh
Admiral Gregaoir O'Galloigh
Brash, bold, and a national hero - Gregaoir O'Galloigh is the High Admiral of the Commonwealth navy, commander of the Terrasic fleet, and right hand of Queen Rhiannon. Based in Ceannastra, O'Galloigh used his heavy galleons to bombard the town of Ynnsmouth during Ebony and the Cult of Dagon's attempt to summon an elder god.
Early Life
Greagoir was born in the final years of Eldrian occupation in Ceannastra to a ship-builder mother and O'Feardelain clan warrior. His father died in the final days of the war in a skirmish near Cadieduwiau. He and his mother were given land within the citadel as a reward for their family's efforts during the war and he lived in general comfort, being tutored by the Library of the Eyes in history and tactics from an early age. At age 16, he joined the Naval Academy in his hometown and began training as a officer.
Pre-War career
Graduating in the top half of his cohort, O'Galloigh began his naval career in 1012 as a sub-liutenant onboard the carrack RCS St Daffydd. By this time, what would be known as the 40 year war had been waging for 10 years throughout Marcia and the southern seas. Fearing invasion, the Commonwealth began sending diplomats beyond their borders. The young officer was included as part of the dignitaries who sailed King Duan to Aedrinar to begin negotiating alliances with the various jarls and elders.
