Shay'áthe the Wounded
This world is nought but agony. You have no concept of pain, mortal. You have not had your very heart and spirit corrupted from within. You were not injected with foul magicks until your very lifeforce necrotized before your own eyes. You were not betrayed by all your peers, even your own sister, all on account of some foolish thing called "fate."
You don't know suffering. But I do.
And I will teach everyone the meaning of suffering.
It is I that descend The Gloom upon you. It is I that rob your cribs of the life of your children to a foul disease that makes them vomit and defecate their way to their own grave. It is I that empowers the forces of evil to drain your very blood. It is I who want nothing more than for everyone you know and love to suffer.
Just as I have.

Holidays
Withering Night. Following the passages of the moon throughout the year, adherents learn the best time to pay tribute to Shay'áthe. The ill, the weak, or the wounded are taken to lonely parts of the woods, especially those where wyld magic is strongest. The sacrifices are bound or crucified, and left as tribute. It is said the moon turns red, and little is left except the ectoplasm of The Gloom, and the blood of the tribute.
