Beautiful port city at one of the mouths of the Felstern River
There are 3 different Ferry Boats that go back and forth to/from Festland
Most ships at the docks of Merengan, head to the mainland of the Land of Zalkai, or connect to other Port Cities for further voyages, so the ships are usually not that large
As you look out to the rest of the island you see the land incline up further and further, this seems to be one of the lower points on the island, there are rocky cliffs to the south/south-east and you see mountains to the east/north-east
Merengen also has lots of fishing boats, fishing is a mainstay for the town and fish seem to be more plentiful in the Strait of Issakar
There are very often caravans that head north-east out of the city heading to Zalkai
