Scribes are the people tasked with writing official documents among attending to other legal matters. They serve to do more than just copy books, rather they attend to legal and scholarly matters.
Scribes advise the lords they work for on things such as the wording of documents as they are drafted. Their duties extend to offering legal counsel.
Scribes work closely with Couriers, as Couriers are the ones who carry the various documents written by scribes.
