The Gorlan Tournament

Held in the first week of the fourth month of the year. It is the most prestigious tournament in Araluen and it's winner is awarded the golden spur.

Schedule

The first two days are for jousting. The first two mornings are set aside for lesser knights and final-year battle-school students. After lunch, lesser knights are given the chance to compete with the more experienced senior knights. On the third day the grand melee is held, beginning at eleven o'clock in the morning. On the fourth and fifth day jousting resumes and elimination bouts are held to decide who will become the champion of the tournament.
