God

Gods are divine beings that bless Maji and Binders with magic. The Maji used to worship the Gods and invoke them in their rituals and spells, but during The Fall of the Maji books that had anything to do with magic were burned, including the ones about the Gods. Most people of the modern era don't even know about the Gods. Worship gives the Gods their power, but lately the energy exchange between humans and gods have become one-sided.
