From a distance Hippetala are often mistaken for human archers, but closer inspection reveals them to be entirely made of plants underneath their cloaks and tunics. Hippetala are often found with Sporetan and Binders often speculate that they had a human origin.

Hippetala rely on photosynthesis for their sustenance.

Grouping

Solitary or in groups of two to eight. They can be found in groups of their own or mixed with groups of Sporetan.

Temperament

Aggressive. Hippetala often ambush unsuspecting binders.
