Lucien Henry

Lucien was a Maji and a soldier in Emperor Oshiro's Army. After The Fall of the Maji, he taught people to become binders in the Lintague - Pearlwich area. He died defending Pearlwich from a particularly powerful Majimonster, leaving a wife and 2 children to mourn him.
There are conflicting reports of how Lucien Henry died. Some accounts, notably Captain Stancliff Preston's account, have him dying heroically in an epic battle to save Lintague and Pearlwich from a Majimonster. Other accounts indicate that he died much earlier than the heroic battle accounts suggest, though these accounts are vague on the details. I suspect that the heroic battle story was cooked up by Captain Preston, who was close friends with Lucien, in order to abate the scrutiny from Lucien's surviving family members, as tensions were high at that time between non-magical people and the Maji and anyone related to them.
