Nieve's Missing Brother
Six years ago, Nieve Powell's brother Rayne Powell left Faversham in search of a legendary Majimonster that he heard a rumor about. Nieve is very angry with her brother for abandoning her and their mother, Aubriana Powell. She wants to find Rayne and kill him. (Nieve Powell's backstory)
Willard Jensen the barkeep in Faversham told Nieve that he overheard Flint Paelun and her brother Rayne talking about a big lizard Majimonster with sharp spikes down its back, wings, long neck and tail that Flint saw near the Scar. (Olkedo Session 3)
Markus Zade, the ferryman of the Aegan River, remembers taking Rayne across the river. It was 4 or 5 years ago and he was heading south. They saw a huge flying lizard monster that day, with someone riding it, headed south. Markus said there are usually 2 of those lizard monsters that travel together, but it looks like someone managed to bind one. Rayne decided to go try and catch up to that binder and talk to them. He may have changed from his original intended course to do so. (Olkedo Session 4)

(Olkedo Session 4) Large flying lizards are mentioned again in Cross Corners. The Guard Captain Gabe Tanner says that there were 2 flying lizard monsters on Vultheryol Peak east of Cross Corners. Lately only one has been seen. (Olkedo Session 5) Our protagonists decide to travel to Vultheryol Peak to find the lizard monster that nests there. In the journal of the mountaineer that guided people up the mountain, they find no mention of anyone matching Rayne's description. It seems that Rayne never made it to the peak, or if he did it wasn't recorded in Sangey's logbook. Where could Rayne be now? (Olkedo Session 7) In Sangey's journal, they also find a description of the person who caught one of the pair of flying lizard monsters at the top of the Peak. He had golden brown hair in a ponytail and a scar over his right eye. He also seems to have taken one of The Black Stones from a cave at the top of the mountain. (Olkedo Session 7) Nieve captured the flying lizard at the top of the Peak. If this was the monster Rayne was looking for, he missed his opportunity. (Olkedo Session 7)
